One
of the best ways you can help us to reach those in need like Children
and adults affected by war, AIDS Orphan, and People living with
HIV/AIDS (PLWA). Support other programs and activities e.g. School
Evangelism, HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention campaigns, Child
Sponsorship, Needy Students Scheme, Humanitarian/Relief Operations,
peacebuilding, and Youth development projects is to raise money
on their behalf and our behalf. Similarly, you can collect material
items such as used clothes, blankets, exercise books, pens, pencils,
house hold utensils, used bicycles for students who walk over
5kms to school. Such items can put a smile on some bodies face
and even change his entire life. “For
I was hungry, and you gave me meat: I was thirsty, and you gave
me drink: I was a stranger, and you took me in: Naked, and you
clothed me: I was sick, and you visited me: I was in prison, and
you came unto me" Mt 25:35-36 |

Our main agenda is to raise funds to construct a schools for war
affected Children e.g. former Child soldiers, returnees, and former
abductees as a means to build peace in Northern Uganda and give
life skills to such Children that they may a meaning and productive
future. We need funds also to provide scholastic materials for
the war affected children, their parents have been incapacitated,
with all their means of income destroyed and hence they cannot
provide for their children. |

We need funds to support AIDS Orphans, Uganda today is a home
to over 1.5 million orphans. |

We need funds for school outreach ministry |

We need funds for our School HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention
campaigns, currents UNAIDS statistics indicates a higher percentage
of people living with HIV/AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa are Young
people between 15-25 years. |

Over 1.6 million people in Northern Uganda are living in Internally
Displaced Persons (IDP) Camps, such people are in great need of
your help, they need Food, Medicines, Tents, used clothes, household
utensils and children need scholastic materials such as books,
pens, pencils, and uniform. |

· We need funds for our Youth Projects, to empower the
youth to become meaningful and future productive citizens. |

| HOW
CAN YOU GET INVOLVED! |

Get local companies and businesses involved tell them the reasons
of fundraising, you may tell them to donate materially if their
products relevant to the materials at hand e.g. foodstuffs, scholastic
materials etc. |

Involve your local congregations, schools, colleges, rotary clubs
etc in your fundraising you may choose an appropriate event. School
children and adults can be very vital collecting of material items
such as used clothes. |

·
Get people donate materials items with commercial & resale
value e.g. mobile phones, a used mobile phone can pay school fees
for 3 children the entire year. |
|
·
You can through schools & colleges organise charity walks,
please do not forget the press this is a very vital tool in fundraising. |
|
·
Organisation resources such as video documentaries can be of great
importance to stage presentations regarding prevailing situations. |
