can make a difference! The Africa Youth Ministries Child sponsorship program is designed to help children who are orphaned by AIDS and Civil conflict in Northern Uganda. This is an opportunity for you to send a boy or a girl to school for only $ 24 per month. |

A
child who does not go to school is a child who goes through life
bearing a monstrous burden. A child destined to live a life impoverished
in every way; in spirit, in health, in bare necessities.
Though building more orphanages is an effective way to care for the ever increasing number of orphans due to AIDS and un-ending wars in Africa, Africa Youth Ministries believes that care provided in institutional settings often fails to meet the developmental and long-term needs of children. |

Further, the costs associated with providing basic care to orphans
sky rocket when salaries must be paid, buildings constructed and
maintained, food prepared, and services provide. Conducted cost
comparisons indicate the ratio of operating costs for an orphanage
to be 14 times higher than those of community care. |
||
There
are many orphans today in Uganda due to AIDS and un-ending wars
who need your help. Such catastrophes have created a generation
of child headed families and orphans inherited by very old people.
Africa Youth Ministries is currently working in Jinja District
to supporting AIDs Orphans inherited by old people by providing
scholastic materials and Lira and Gulu districst helping children
orphaned and affected by war. |

| Your investment of only $ 24 monthly will provide a child with Tuition fees, books, pens & pencils, school uniform, medical care and food at school. | ||

| ACCOUNTABILITY: Our procurement is done through proper channels,where we get invoices
and receipts. Similarly, for those sponsors in need of
accountability, we provide receipts of all expenditures pertaining
the
children they sponsor. On request we also give receipts of all donations
we get. Sometimes we delay to post them because,it is very expensive
to post mails to the west from Uganda. |
