OUR
MISSION STATEMENT! |
| Our
mission statement, in our ‘Kicking AIDS out of Uganda”
is to present the consequences of premarital sex and the benefits
of Abstinence to both in & out of school young people and provide
them with an opportunity to make a memorable commitment to be sexually
pure until marriage. |

GOAL |
| Our
over all objective for “Kicking AIDS out of Uganda”
programme is to contribute to reducing the spread of HIV among the
uninfected young people in Rakai District. |

OBJECTIVES |
•
Encourage young people to abstain from pre-marital sex
• Reduce the prevalence of STI’s and the incidence of
HIV & teenage pregnancy among young people under 24 years
• Empower young people on interventions against HIV &
AIDS
• Increase access of adolescents and youth to life-saving
information and skills through improved life skills and sexual education
and communication programmes
• Increase awareness of HIV/AIDS and develop community capacity
to prevent HIV/AIDS |
