| AIDS
ORPHANS COMMUNITY CARE & SUPPORT PROGRAM: |
AYM
is currently supporting 83 AIDS Orphans in Mafubira Sub-County
Jinja District under Community Based AIDS Orphans Care & Support
program (CBAOCSP). AIDS Orphans under this program receive scholastic
materials e.g. books, pens & pencils, school fees, school
uniform and a small domestic fund for upkeep. In future such orphans
will also be able to receive medical care. Similar program is
underway in Hoima District, and Wakiso District. |

| SCHOOL
FOCUSED HIV/AIDS AWARENESS & PREVENTION CAMPAIGNS: |
In
the HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention campaigns, Africa Youth
Ministries has designed a special program for secondary based
students. This program is currently being conducted on weekends,
AYM staff and volunteers share a message of HIV/AIDS through music,
presentations based on the current Impact of HIV/AIDS in communities,
drama, Staff & Volunteer testimonies and social interraction.
This program is currently operation in Kampala and Wakiso Districts
due to lack of transport and funds for upcountry travelling, feeding,
accomodation, and allowances. We have apparently many invitations
from many schools than we can afford to visit. |

| EDUCATION
AS TOOL FOR PEACE BUILDING: |
Africa
Youth Ministries is Currently working hand in hand with Truth
Evangelistic Fountain Ministries together with Local authorities
in Lira District to help the war affected Children continue with
their Education. This program will help the children who have
been worst affected by the Lords Resistance Army Rebels Insurgency.
Program beneficiaries will receive scholastic materials, school
fees, school uniform, phyco-Social counselling & support,
clothes and improved study environment. Lira district is one of
the Districts that have been badly affected by 81 years Lords
Resistance Army rebel insurgency, which has left over 1.6 million
people displaced, more than 20,000 Children abducted, villages
completely burnt down, Billions of Shillings destroyed in property,
thousands of innocent civilians (adults & Children) Killeds,
hundreds maimed etc. This 18 years war has affected every sector
of the economy, many schools have been forced to close and many
students forced out of school, people abondoned their gardens,
medical centers etc. |

| EMERGENCY
RELIEF: |
In
collaboration with various ministries, individuals and fellowships
the Minsitry has been able to collect various used clothes which
has benefited many Internally Displaced People in Internally Displaced
Peoples Camps. Africa Youth Ministries has in the past sent and
is continuing to send emergency appeals to various donors to raise
support in Aid of the people affected by the 18 years Lra Civil
conflict. We're looking for support in this area, we need used
clothes, food, domestic utensils, plastic sheets, blankets, medicines,
scholastic materials, garden tools and seeds to help the Internally
Displaced Persons, IDP', for further information you can contact

| NEEDY
STUDENT'S SCHEME: |
Under
the needy Students scheme, Africa Youth Ministries is currently
supporting 10 Students in different secondary schools in Wakiso
& Hoima districts. However, these students are from different
other districts though studying in Wakiso & Hoima districts.
Africa Youth Ministries has so far received many applications
from various needy students, we're currently looking for more
sponsors, funders and donors in the Needy Students Scheme for
